Our team consists of nearly 2,000 nurses.

Across our communities, we have over 6,000 beds dedicated for resident care.
For many nurses, one of the key benefits of working in our team is getting to know each resident. Understanding their needs, past experiences, and overall goals is important to treatment. Whereas other healthcare environments may only offer as little as several minutes time with a patient, Ciena nurses are allowed the appropriate time to connect with each resident.
This more focused approach also means that residents can feel confident in knowing they will have their needs met. Whether it’s a room with the right amenities, a particular dietary restriction, or a daily routine important for recovery – residents will receive the resources they need for a comfortable, productive stay.
And being with the resident as they recover and make progress? Being able to tell residents they’re improving after months of dedicated treatment? Those moments really stand out for many of our nurses.

Our longest tenured team member started in 1972.
