Terri, who joined Ciena in 2024, is one such team member. When she first started working with us, it was also her first step into the world of healthcare. Before long, she earned her nursing certification.
Who is Terri
Keeping purpose in sight
Terri’s first position with us was as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). This role plays a key part in supporting our residents and family members and is how many aspiring nurses initially enter the field.
The opportunity to work directly with people and impact their lives interested Terri. It’s why she wanted to work in healthcare in the first place, though she quickly realized she could do so much more.
