This position plays a key role in the infection control program of the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility.
- Assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets on all cleaning products.
- Complies with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances.
- Develop and oversee staffing and supply budgets.
- Prepare and submit reports as requested.
- Assure housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions.
- Attend and participate in facility meetings, including those relating to Infection Control/Safety/Quality Improvement, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum or two (2) years housekeeping experience in an institutional environment
