Payroll Coordinator Corporate

Are you an experienced payroll coordinator?  We are a fast-paced and deadline oriented corporate payroll office.

 You would be a good fit if you are:

  • Detail-oriented, experienced with computerized time keeping systems, Collective Bargaining Agreements and have a clear understanding of federal, state and local taxes. 
  • In addition, strong written and verbal skills and experience with Excel are required.

 Your duties in addition to payroll may include:

  • Resolving payroll discrepancies with facilities and employees,
  • Filing taxes for multiple companies,
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations, coordinating with other departments,
  • Providing ongoing training for facility payroll staff.
  • Travel throughout Michigan may be required on occasion.
  • An in-depth understanding of accounting principles with an accounting degree is preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll processing.
