As the Treatment Nurse at Regency at Westland, you will provide treatments and skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians and the Director of Nursing. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the guest, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.

You will join an experienced, hard-working team that values communication and strong teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
Directs nursing staff, including aides, on proper turning and positioning, and wound care policies and procedures
Confers with Director of Nursing and/or other licensed nursing personnel regarding dermatologic disorders of residents in the facility
Consult with IDT concerning assessment evaluations and assist in planning and developing the skin care treatment to be performed for the resident
Initiates requests for the consultations or referrals for skin conditions. Responds to requests from the resident, physician, and nursing staff
Examines the resident and their charts, and discriminates between normal and abnormal findings, to recognize when to refer the resident to a physician for additional evaluation. supervision, and directions
Provides daily treatments
Education and/or Experience
At least two years experience working in wound care preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with required state Licensure.
CPR certified
