How dietary services at Ciena stands out
Unlike most dietitian roles in hospitals, Ciena offers long-term care to residents who stay in our communities. This means that many aspects of a resident’s day-to-day life are our team’s responsibility – including their medication, engagement in activities, and meal arrangements.
Our dietary services team is responsible for planning and executing meal plans for our residents, which can vary greatly between residents. That’s because the food they eat can be just as important as the medicine they take. Whether it’s to help sustain weight, meet a protein intake, or simply increase morale – the right dish can be the deciding factor on a resident’s successful treatment. Our dietitians establish lasting relationships with our residents, allowing adjustments to their diets as-needed to better meet their individual needs.
